The website blacksub.de has existed since 2000 and was developed as an underground art website for the exhibition of the Stuttgart artist Juliane Arnold. Still unknown at the time and in the background of the art scene, new art was developing, which was therefore referred to with the word Sub. The goal was to bring the new young art to the surface. A lot has happened in the meantime, new pictures have been painted and an exhibition has taken place. Constant attacks from hackers and technical disruptions have occurred on Blacksub.de and so the site was hosted twice so that there is always an internet presence. There are various criminal complaints for the authorities to download on the website Blacksub.de, which actually have nothing to do with art. That’s probably why there were hacker attacks.
There are some technical problems with the Picture Slider Player plugins and some browsers no longer display the page correctly. In some cases, animations have to be completely avoided.
